Synopsis
I have always liked images. In fact they are the thing I remember most from my childhood. Even more than smells or tastes, it is images that I recall. These fragments from life are still held in my minds eye, mixed with scenes from movies I?ve seen. This process still moves my imagination, my eyes catching and recognising photos that already exist somewhere inside me.
Today in my work I am fascinated by faces and the human figure as it combines and works with colors and textures. The dynamics of the models movement as it interacts with architure and landscape in one image attracts me, and I love the challenge of the complex relationships within the two dimensions of the images I create. The future promises new images, new challenges and new ways of expressing the imagination that moves me.
